The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pierce drives through with a takedown into Drew 's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Drew is trying to trip Pierce. He has hold of a leg but Pierce is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Drew persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Charles Pierce will probably get the nod.

Drew fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pierce, pushing him back against the cage.

Pierce closes the distance and clinches up with Drew , looking for a takedown. Pierce pushes Drew against the cage but Drew circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Drew is fighting to break Pierce's control of his arms but Pierce is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Pierce shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Drew as he avoids it easily.
