Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Fusi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Boxe Boxa!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fusi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boxa moves away.
Boxa looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Boxa tries to bum rush Fusi with a series of wild strikes but Fusi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Boxa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A counter left hand to the body from Fusi misses its target.
Fusi catches Boxa with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Fusi sends Boxa crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fusi is motioning to the referee to let Boxa up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Boxa is rocked!
It looks like Boxe Boxa has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fusi darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Boxa's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Fusi before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Fusi!
