Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kenny Key!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alisson Trecktor!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trecktor stuns Key with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Trecktor clinches up against the cage.

Key jumps guard and drags Trecktor to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Trecktor works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Trecktor is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Key is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Key trying to hold on to Trecktor's head to control him but Trecktor postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Key wants to control the action here but instead Trecktor manages to pass to full mount!
Trecktor can't control as he wanted to and Key manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

Key is pressing down on Trecktor's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Trecktor stays in close to Key's body and controls the position.
Trecktor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Key swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Key seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Key might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Key is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Trecktor defends well.

and Key decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Trecktor's guard.

Trecktor is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Key is controlling him.

Trecktor isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Key stacks Trecktor on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Key!

Key scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Trecktor to see if he's OK.
Trecktor tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Key fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Key has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Trecktor's face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Key seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Trecktor is holding on tight.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Key cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Trecktor is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Trecktor is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Key is aware though and is defending well.
Key lands a couple of digs.

Trecktor looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Key has picked Trecktor up and slammed him! Trecktor can't keep hold of the triangle and Key manages to pass to side control!

Key decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Key shoots in looking for a takedown. Trecktor tries to sprawl out of it but Key keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Trecktor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Key, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
