The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dawkins closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dawkins lands in his opponent's guard.
Hoy tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

I really don't envy Dawkins right now.

Hoy working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Dawkins is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Hoy has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Dawkins taps out!
