Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Darko Pulovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halls throws a lazy uppercut
and Pulovic counters with a nice body shot.
Halls rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pulovic moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pulovic shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Halls eats them both and turns towards Pulovic to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Halls fails with the takedown
letting Pulovic counter with a right hand.
Pulovic throws a combination. Halls tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Phil Halls has been cut.
Halls throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Pulovic counters with a left to the body.
Halls closes the distance and clinches up with Pulovic, looking for a takedown. Halls pushes Pulovic against the cage but Pulovic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've been told by Pulovic's head coaches at DRAGON MMA - 13 Elite & 2 Double Elite Coaches that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pulovic has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pulovic and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
