The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linwood has a takedown stuffed.
Lepshokov tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Linwood counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Lepshokov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Linwood quickly recovers to half guard.
Linwood is trying to stand up here but Lepshokov is controlling him well.
Lepshokov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Linwood with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Linwood is looking to escape.
Lepshokov missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Linwood pushes Lepshokov off looking to stand but Lepshokov dives back in and keeps control.

Lepshokov seems to be looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lepshokov is nestled in close to Linwood, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Still in half guard, Lepshokov seems content to control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lepshokov wants to free his trapped foot but Linwood is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Lepshokov maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Linwood could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Lepshokov has cracked it and Linwood is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Lepshokov!
