Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Helsingin Sanomat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Hunter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter cracks Sanomat with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

It looks like Helsingin Sanomat has been cut.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Sanomat tries for a kimura but Hunter is defending well.
Sanomat is looking to take a break and control but Hunter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hunter tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sanomat wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Helsingin Sanomat will probably get the nod.

Hunter misses with a double jab.
Hunter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sanomat moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tommy Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A right-left combo lands from Hunter.
Sanomat bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Sanomat closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Sanomat escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Sanomat moves into range and clinches up with Hunter.
Hunter is trying to break free.
Hunter is looking to break free of the clinch but Sanomat has double underhooks.
Hunter has had enough of the clinch but Sanomat keeps him there for the moment.

Sanomat is trying to drag Hunter to the mat but Hunter just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Sanomat is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hunter pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Hunter throws a hook to the side of Sanomat's head but Sanomat sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Sanomat takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hunter throws a right and a left that Sanomat avoids nicely.
Sanomat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hunter's waist but Hunter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sanomat off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Helsingin Sanomat. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hunter doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
