Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lanston feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Halsteads jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Lanston connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Lanston throws a lazy right hand but Halstead sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Halstead gets a clinch.
Lanston looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Halstead blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Lanston misses with some punches.
Lanston misses with a punch on the inside.
Lanston scores with a shot to the side of Halstead's head.

Lanston breaks from the clinch.
A jab lands there for Lanston.
Lanston scores with a decent looking hook.
Halstead walks into a straight right hand from Lanston.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lanston, as that shot connected.
Lanston scores with a sloppy right hand. Halstead should have avoided that one.
Good exchange - Lanston coming out on top.

Halstead is rocked!
Lanston scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Oh Halstead is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Halstead takes a jab right on the kisser.
Lanston cracks Halstead with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Halstead tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lanston pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Halstead is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
