Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jayceon Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyler has closed the distance and engaged Donovan in a clinch.

Tyler has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Donovan regains guard immediately.

Donovan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tyler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tyler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Donovan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tyler kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tyler shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Donovan pinned against the cage. Donovan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Tyler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Tyler closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tyler lands in his opponent's guard.

Tyler drops back looking for a leg! Donovan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Donovan manages to kick Tyler off! Tyler jumps back into Donovan's guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Tyler throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Donovan's waist but Donovan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tyler off to one side.

Donovan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tyler manages to get himself to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
