The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
RoboTessin looks to score with a jab to the body but Strap is just out of range.
Strap swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
RoboTessin throws a jab but it's blocked by Strap.
Strap throws a counter combo.
RoboTessin throws out a loose jab but Strap uses good head movement to avoid it.
Strap doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
RoboTessin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Strap.
RoboTessin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A countering left hand to the body from Strap misses.
Strap steps to the side to avoid the strikes from RoboTessin.
Strap now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Strap paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Strap lands a glancing blow to the side of RoboTessin's head.
Randy RoboTessin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
RoboTessin goes for a double leg but Strap avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Strap continues to drive forward.
