The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kain throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pudzianowski is looking to clinch but Kain is avoiding it.
Kain closes the distance but Pudzianowski moves to the side

and Pudzianowski counters with a takedown into side control.
Kain is trying to get back to half guard.
Pudzianowski is chipping away with strikes.

Pudzianowski seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
