Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between TJ Guillard (ranked 1858 p4p, 227 weight class) and Roy Benavidez (ranked 1579 p4p, 197 weight class). Guillard comes to the cage accompanied by Duran Duran-White Lines. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benavidez connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Guillard's hands.
Benavidez avoids the head kick by Guillard.
Guillard throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nice uppercut there from Benavidez.
Benavidez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Guillard stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Guillard seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Benavidez blocks a head kick by Guillard.
Benavidez works Guillard's body with a nice hook.
Benavidez swings for the body but Guillard moves out of range.
Guillard takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Guillard tries to clinch there but Benavidez circles away.
Benavidez swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Guillard.
Guillard takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Guillard misses with a jab, cross combination.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Benavidez! But no joy.
Benavidez slaps away a takedown attempt from Guillard, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Benavidez fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Guillard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Benavidez ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Benavidez no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Benavidez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Guillard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Roy Benavidez decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
The defeated TJ Guillard had this to say: 'I want a rematch next week. I ain't no punk...'.
