Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve Sanchez (ranked 919 p4p, 111 weight class) and Timothy Poggle (ranked 1162 p4p, 144 weight class). Sanchez comes to the cage accompanied by Where is My Mind? by Pixies. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

With a record of 22 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Timothy Poggle!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.

Poggle moves out of range of the strikes.
Poggle has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Poggle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sanchez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sanchez steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Poggle. That one must have hurt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Steve Sanchez will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Poggle might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Sanchez has got the better of the exchanges.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Poggle lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sanchez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sanchez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well Sanchez has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
