Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joe Hogan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Genji Kamogawa!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan tries to clinch but Kamogawa is having none of it.
Hogan tries to clinch but Kamogawa moves out of range.
Hogan tries to close the distance and clinch but Kamogawa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hogan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hogan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hogan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Kamogawa closes the distance and pushes Hogan back into the cage.
Hogan blocks a body shot from Kamogawa.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kamogawa.
A head punch on the inside from Hogan fails to land.

Kamogawa manages to break the clinch.
Kamogawa throws the left hand but Hogan avoids the punch easily.
A little feinted left hand from Hogan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Hogan fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kamogawa looks to land a combination but Hogan avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hogan tries to clinch but Kamogawa moves out of range.
Hogan connects with a jab.
Hogan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kamogawa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kamogawa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hogan was well out of range. Poor timing from Kamogawa.
Hogan moves in looking to clinch but Kamogawa pushes him off.
A little jabbing left from Kamogawa on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Kamogawa pushes Hogan up against the cage in a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hogan misses with a punch on the inside.
Hogan lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kamogawa backwards.
Kamogawa looks winded!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hogan misses with the head strike.
Hogan throws a punch but it's blocked by Kamogawa.
Hogan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kamogawa blocking some punches.
Hogan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Kamogawa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hogan lands a head kick. Kamogawa smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Hogan pounces like a tiger and cracks Kamogawa with a vicious hook! Kamogawa is down but not out! Hogan follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Joe Hogan!
Joe Hogan seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
