The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Le throws out a loose jab but Ndawonde uses good head movement to avoid it.
A jab from Le misses.
Le staying out of range there.
Le fails with an attempt to clinch.
Le lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Nice sprawl there from Ndawonde as Le shoots in.
Ndawonde was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Ndawonde lands a leg kick that knocks Le off balance momentarily.
Ndawonde scores with a decent looking hook.

Le has Ndawonde up against the cage in a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ndawonde creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Le wants to clinch up but Ndawonde keeps it at a distance.
Le tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ndawonde swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Le throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Le shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ndawonde counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Le will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ndawonde.
Ndawonde bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Le's head backwards.

Le tries to bum rush Ndawonde with a series of wild strikes but Ndawonde uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Le tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ndawonde sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Le somewhat.
Ndawonde connects with a good right hand that stumbles Le. Le circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Ndawonde leaves Le with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Le's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Ndawonde counters with a huge left! Le is in big trouble! He's backing up but Ndawonde isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Le from any more damage. A dominating finish by Ndawonde!
