Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Preston Wiggins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hot Sauce!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Summer Carpenter and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sauce scores with a three punch combo!


It looks like Preston Wiggins has been cut.
Sauce throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sauce darts in looking for a takedown but Wiggins gets double underhooks and turns Sauce into the cage.
As Sauce tries to get set, Wiggins tries to push him back and clinch up but Sauce manages to avoid the attempt.
Wiggins avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sauce swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Wiggins counters by clinching up.
Sauce has had enough of the clinch but Wiggins keeps him there for the moment.
Wiggins taking a breather.
Sauce tries to break the clinch but Wiggins is controlling the position.
Sauce is trying to break free.

Sauce escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sauce looks to land a combination but Wiggins avoids it well.

Wiggins clinches up with Sauce and pushes him back against the cage.
Sauce is looking to break free of the clinch but Wiggins has double underhooks.
Sauce is trying to force a seperation but Wiggins has the dominant position.
Sauce digs a right hand into Wiggins's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Wiggins's gas tank.

Sauce breaks the clinch.

Wiggins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sauce tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wiggins is in Sauce's guard.
Sauce wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Wiggins manages to pass to side control.

Sauce tries to roll over but Wiggins keeps him under control.
Wiggins throwing shots but Sauce is blocking nicely.

Sauce tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Wiggins manages to move to mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sauce can't escape the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sauce can do anything to dispel that myth.
Sauce looks winded!
A nice elbow there by Wiggins.
Wiggins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wiggins connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Wiggins scoring with strikes but Sauce is staying in there.
Wiggins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee warns Sauce that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sauce tries to reverse the position but Wiggins maintains control.
Wiggins breaks from Sauce's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Wiggins lands with some strikes.

Wiggins is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sauce has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sauce is in all sorts of trouble here.

Wiggins pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Sauce should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Sauce wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Wiggins has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Sauce taps furiously! This one is all over!
