The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aki keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rogers.
A big left from Rogers misses.
Rogers bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Aki's head.
The fighters circling - Rogers throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rogers throws the left hand but Aki avoids the punch easily.
Aki blocks a jab.
Aki misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Aki takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Aki is rocked!
Aki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rogers is fending him off so far but Aki persists. Nope, Rogers circles away and we're back to standing.
Oh Aki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Aki is breathing heavily.
Rogers misses with an uppercut.
Rogers misses the jab.
Aki uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rogers.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Aki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rogers pinned against the cage. Rogers gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abdul Aki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rogers missing with a left hand there. Aki was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Aki really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rogers connects with a nice cross there... Aki is looking wobbly and Rogers recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Aki to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Rogers jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
