Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derek Vinyard!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinyard moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kavanagh misses with a kick to the body
and Vinyard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Vinyard misses with a straight right.
Kavanagh avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kavanagh feints and then cracks Vinyard's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vinyard down.
Vinyard looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kavanagh lands a really nice looking cross but Vinyard seems unphased.
Vinyard lands a nice shot to the body.
Kavanagh has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Convicted Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.
Kavanagh clobbers Vinyard with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Vinyard misses with a hook.
Vinyard wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kavanagh with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vinyard to score with a decent uppercut.

Kavanagh manages to break the clinch.
Kavanagh throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kavanagh scores with a nice right hand.
Kavanagh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vinyard throws out the jab.
Good leg kick by Kavanagh there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vinyard clobbers Kavanagh with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kavanagh throws a front kick aimed at Vinyard's knee but Vinyard avoids it well.
Kavanagh will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Vinyard tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kavanagh paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Vinyard takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Vinyard wants to counter with a clinch but Kavanagh pushes him away.
Kavanagh looks to land a left hand but Vinyard moved out of range nicely.
Vinyard looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Kavanagh throws a nice inside leg kick.
Kavanagh cracks Vinyard with a good jab.
Vinyard looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Vinyard is rocked!
Kavanagh drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Vinyard right on the button. Vinyard goes down! Kavanagh follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Kavanagh gets the win via TKO!
