The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hamilton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Johnson scores with a spinning back kick!
Hamilton throws a series of punches but Johnson moves out of range.
Hamilton slips a jab and a cross from Johnson.
Johnson throws a head kick that misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hamilton.
Johnson drops Hamilton with a right and a left! Johnson comes rushing in but Hamilton regains his composure and manages to keep Johnson in guard.

Hamilton is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson is looking to stand up but Hamilton won't let him.
Hamilton tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Johnson wants to stand but Hamilton has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hamilton shoots in and drives through. Johnson sprawls well.
Hamilton doesn't manage to clinch there - Johnson circles away.
Hamilton closes the distance and clinches up with Johnson, looking for a takedown. Hamilton pushes Johnson against the cage but Johnson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Anthony Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cameron Hamilton.
Hamilton tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Johnson throws a series of strikes that have Hamilton backpedaling.

Hamilton wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance.
A combination from Johnson does no damage.
Hamilton fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hamilton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Johnson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hamilton is trying desperately to land a takedown but Johnson is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Hamilton.

Hamilton misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hamilton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Hamilton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hamilton misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Johnson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hamilton's hands.
Hamilton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Johnson scores with a kick to the midsection.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hamilton misses with a hook to the body
and Johnson counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Hamilton! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
