Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bertram Adelhard (ranked 4045 p4p, 0 weight class) and Temujin Lee (ranked 2267 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Adelhard might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Volbeat - Still Counting. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee throws a body punch but Adelhard moves out of range.
Lee scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Adelhard doesn't seem bothered though.
Lee swings for the body but Adelhard moves out of range.
Adelhard swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

and Lee takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Adelhard takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Adelhard lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Temujin Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Adelhard has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lee is working away from the top position though.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Adelhard is on top in guard.

Lee throws a solid leg kick but Adelhard takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lee.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
