Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnson Sosa (ranked 5212 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manu Dussotoy (ranked 3303 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dussotoy is defended easily by Sosa.
Dussotoy drives through and clinches with Sosa against the cage.
Dussotoy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Sosa counters with a shoot takedown. Dussotoy fights it but they end up in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sosa drops back looking for a leg! Dussotoy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dussotoy manages to kick Sosa off! Sosa jumps back into Dussotoy's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Sosa keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dussotoy's head.

Dussotoy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sosa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sosa throws a big right hand that misses.
Sosa decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Dussotoy misses with a takedown attempt - Sosa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dussotoy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Dussotoy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sosa sprawls well. Sosa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dussotoy gets slowly back to his feet.
Sosa went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Johnson Sosa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manu Dussotoy.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sosa.
Dussotoy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sosa tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dussotoy is in Sosa's guard.
Sosa has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Dussotoy is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Dussotoy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sosa just stands there and leans against the cage.
Sosa drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dussotoy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dussotoy wants to take the fight to the mat but Sosa manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Sosa is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Dussotoy is defending well.
Sosa jumps guard but Dussotoy stands there with Sosa around his waist. Sosa gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Dussotoy tries to pull guard but Sosa holds him up against the cage and eventually Dussotoy drops back down to his feet.
Sosa manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sosa wriggles free and stands up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Dussotoy throws a right hand that Sosa ducks under and follows up with a left that Sosa also avoids with ease.
Dussotoy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dussotoy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sosa swivels and escapes.
Dussotoy drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Sosa has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Dussotoy off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Dussotoy fails with a takedown attempt.
Sosa throws a good cross that connects.
Dussotoy is breathing heavily.
Dussotoy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Sosa closes the distance and clinches up with Dussotoy, looking for a takedown. Sosa pushes Dussotoy against the cage but Dussotoy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dussotoy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Dussotoy goes for a takedown attempt but Sosa pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Johnson Sosa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manu Dussotoy.
Sosa gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Sosa is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dussotoy can do to turn this around?

Sosa manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dussotoy manages to get himself to full guard.

Sosa is working Dussotoy over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sosa drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Sosa as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Dussotoy screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Sosa! Nice submission victory there!
