Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anselmo Harris (ranked 4547 p4p, 440 weight class) and Marek Koltun (ranked 5216 p4p, 468 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Anselmo Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 31 - 4, fighting out of Helsinki, Marek Koltun!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris scores with a decent looking hook.
Harris keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Harris tries to bum rush Koltun with a series of wild strikes but Koltun uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Koltun gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Harris counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Harris.
Koltun is trying to drag Harris to the mat but Harris just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Anselmo Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marek Koltun.
Harris working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Koltun goes for a takedown in the clinch but Harris prevents it.
Koltun tries for a takedown but Harris manages to get underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Harris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Harris wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Harris tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Koltun was well out of range. Poor timing from Harris.
Koltun drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Harris defends it well.
Harris throws the left hand but Koltun avoids the punch easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Harris shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Koltun manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Harris works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Koltun regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Harris.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Harris's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Harris postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
We've been hearing good reports from Harris's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Koltun is on top in guard.

Harris has his foot on Koltun's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Koltun works his way back into a safe position though.

Harris is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Koltun defends well.

Anselmo Harris dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Koltun.
Harris lunges at Koltun with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Koltun's hand.
Koltun tests Harris's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Koltun darts in looking for a takedown but Harris gets double underhooks and turns Koltun into the ropes.
Anselmo Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marek Koltun.
Harris throws a body punch but Koltun moves out of range.
Harris is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Koltun can do to turn this around?
Harris lands a body shot.
Harris swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Koltun swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Harris smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Koltun moves out of range of the strikes.
Harris looks for a takedown but Koltun sprawls well.
Harris throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Koltun sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Koltun closes this distance looking for a takedown but Harris circles away.
Koltun moves out of range as Harris strikes.
Koltun shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Harris as he jumps to the side.

Harris scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Koltun shoots for a double leg takedown but Harris sprawls well. He's pushed Koltun's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Harris swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Koltun closes this distance looking for a takedown but Harris circles away.
Harris connects with an inside leg kick.
Marek Koltun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koltun looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Anselmo Harris is winning the standup battle so far.
Harris misses the shot to the body.
Koltun shoots in for a takedown but Harris shows good takedown defense.
Koltun fails with a takedown attempt.
Koltun stuffs the takedown attempt from Harris. Harris gets slowly back to his feet.
Harris lands with a good body shot.
Koltun uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Harris.
Harris sets himself, and Koltun steps forward looking for the clinch! Harris avoids it this time.
Koltun shoots for a takedown but Harris saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Koltun is defended easily by Harris.
Harris throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Koltun on the side of the head.
Koltun moves into range and connects with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Horrible takedown attempt by Koltun or perhaps it was just good defense by Harris, which made it look bad.
Harris swings for the body but Koltun moves out of range.
Harris cracks Koltun with an open hand slap.
Harris displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Koltun.
Koltun walks into a left hand.
Koltun fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Harris drops down looking for a counter takedown but Koltun sprawls and moves away.
Harris lands a jab to the nose.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anselmo Harris dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Harris looks to clinch

so Koltun counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Harris pulls Koltun in to control the position.
Koltun is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.

Harris had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Koltun defends it easily.

Harris is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Koltun is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Harris has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Koltun can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Koltun slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Koltun postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Koltun wants to control from the top but Harris keeps moving.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Koltun drops back looking for a leg! Harris is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Harris manages to kick Koltun off! Koltun jumps back into Harris's guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Koltun lands a couple of elbows.

And that's the end of the fight!
Marek Koltun comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Harris has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
