The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tankaniv tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Duffy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Duffy really is a fat lump.
Duffy blocks a head kick by Tankaniv.
Tankaniv goes for a double leg but Duffy avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Duffy continues to drive forward.
No luck for Tankaniv with that takedown attempt.
Duffy tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Tankaniv shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Duffy defends it nicely.
Brain Duffy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Tankaniv.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Duffy is looking to cinch up a triangle. Tankaniv throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Duffy's body to avoid the submission. Duffy has instead reached around Tankaniv's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Duffy arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
