Stone kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Matrimony by:Wale. Both fighters look pumped up here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Stone - that will leave a mark!

Stone has taken the fight to the clinch.

Destro jumps guard but Stone turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Stone working hard to break the clinch.
Stone with a knee to the head.
Stone misses with a punch to the body.
With the fighters up against the cage, Stone throws an elbow but misses.

Stone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Destro looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stone is fending him off so far but Destro persists. Nope, Stone circles away and we're back to standing.

Destro feints and as Stone raises his hands in defense, Destro changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Stone has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Destro is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Destro misses with the head strike.
A short body shot lands from Stone as the two fighters clinch.
Destro goes for a takedown in the clinch but Stone prevents it.
Javelle Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dante Destro.
Stone misses with a knee strike.

Stone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Stone takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Destro tries to sprawl but Stone drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Stone maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Destro could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Stone has cracked it and Destro is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Stone!
