Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Orston (ranked 2056 p4p, 286 weight class) and Irvine Kinneas (ranked 1655 p4p, 243 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kinneas's choice of entrance music: Judas Priest - Electric Eye. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Irvine Kinneas enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Orston catches Kinneas right on the button with a cross.
Orston throws a low kick but Kinneas avoids it.
Orston lands a slapping body shot.
A shot to the body from Orston misses
and Kinneas counters with a three punch combo that has Orston backing up. Orston nods at Kinneas to acknowledge the strikes.
Kinneas throws the left hand but Orston avoids the punch easily.
Orston really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kinneas takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kinneas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kinneas jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like David Orston has been cut.
Kinneas swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Orston was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Kinneas avoids the head kick by Orston.
Orston getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Both fighters circling a little - Orston finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Orston throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kinneas.
Kinneas throws a right and a left that both miss.
Orston scores with a nice head shot.

and Kinneas counters with a series of strikes. Orston will be more careful next time no doubt.
Orston feints a jab promting Kinneas to slip. Orston then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kinneas slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kinneas throws a hook but Orston avoids it easily.
Orston shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Orston throws a lazy head kick
and Kinneas counters with a nice low kick that buckles Orston's knee momentarily.
Kinneas takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kinneas missing with a left hand there. Orston was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kinneas misses with a straight left.
Kinneas misses with a hook. Orston ducked under it nicely.
Kinneas throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kinneas throws a hook to the side of Orston's head but Orston sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A nice side step and Kinneas releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Orston lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Orston misses with a low kick as Kinneas jumps back.
Orston throws a body punch but Kinneas moves out of range.
Kinneas checks the leg kick nicely there.
Kinneas is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Orston misses the shot to the body.

Orston catches Kinneas with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Orston throws a head kick that misses.
Kinneas is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Orston with a body shot.
Orston tries to land a front kick but Kinneas steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kinneas swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Orston on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Orston is breathing heavily.

Kinneas lands a big head kick that sends Orston tumbling to the mat! Kinneas takes a step backwards and waves Orston back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Orston is rocked!
Kinneas thuds his shin into the meat of Orston's side.
Oh Orston is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
David Orston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kinneas is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Orston flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Orston is out cold! Kinneas holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
