The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimono fails with a takedown attempt.
Kimono shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kimono showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kimono is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Nightmare tries to get to full guard but Kimono has control of the leg.
Nightmare is positioning himself well to prevent Kimono advancing to mount.
Nightmare is looking to control Kimono's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nightmare avoid being mounted?

Kimono swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Nightmare is now in Kimono's guard. A big mistake from Kimono there, giving up the dominant position!

Nightmare stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kimono swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nightmare really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Nightmare seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nightmare in particular looking to stall.
Kimono is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Nightmare pulls his head out easily.

Nightmare drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nightmare wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kimono, who protects the arm well.
Kimono reaches up around Nightmare's neck trying to control. But Nightmare takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Kimono! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Kimono is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Nightmare celebrates the victory with the fans!
