Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Borne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nick Fury!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borne circles away from the clinch attempt
and Borne counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Fury gets tackled into the cage by Borne. Borne maintains the clinch.

Borne breaks the clinch.
Borne cracks the inside of Fury's front leg.

Borne darts in and clinches Fury up against the cage.

Borne drags the fight down to the ground.
Borne bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fury's guard.

Borne pushes down on Fury's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Fury with the active half guard here but Borne passes nicely into side control.
Check out the look on Borne's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Borne happy to just control the position for now.

Borne stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Fury shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Borne as he avoids it easily.

Borne dives in and scores a takedown into Fury's guard.
Borne is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Borne passes easily into side control. Nice work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Borne advances nicely into full mount.

Borne looking to secure an arm triangle but Fury defends it well.
Borne tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Fury looks winded!

Fury really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Borne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Borne is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Borne extends the arm and Fury is forced to tap!
