Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kestenis has closed the distance and engaged York in a clinch.
York fails to pull the fight into his guard.
York with a knee to the head.
York tries for a takedown but Kestenis manages to get underhooks.
York is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kestenis is just too persistent for him and manages to trip York to the mat. York regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Kestenis is fighting to break York's control of his arms but York is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

York really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kestenis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of York's head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kestenis gets to his feet and stands over York, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! York felt that one! Kestenis unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save York from any more punishment!
