Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Long Schlong (ranked 1354 p4p, 143 weight class) and Elazar Shalit (ranked 4275 p4p, 343 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Long Schlong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Elazar Shalit!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shalit throws a right hand that misses
and Schlong counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Schlong misses with a body shot.
A little jabbing left from Shalit on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Schlong lands a glancing blow to the side of Shalit's head.
Schlong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shalit moves away.
Shalit lands a head shot.
Schlong uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shalit.

Schlong gets the takedown into side control.
Shalit is trying to work for a sweep but Schlong has mounted him!

Schlong is working for a guillotine from mount but Shalit frees his head quite easily.
Shalit is working to get back to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shalit is still trying to improve position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Schlong looking to control but Shalit is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Shalit tries to lock up and control but Schlong gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Schlong moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Shalit has worked his arm free - good work by Shalit!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Shalit is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Schlong is controlling him well.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Schlong misses with a hook. Shalit ducked under it nicely.
Schlong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Shalit bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Schlong connects with a jab.
Schlong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shalit manages to avoid it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Schlong.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Schlong swings for the body but Shalit moves out of range.

A telegraphed right hand from Schlong misses the target.
Shalit lands with a slapping head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Long Schlong dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Long Schlong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shalit throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shalit bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Schlong with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Shalit cracks Schlong with a right hand to the side of the head.
Schlong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schlong takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Shalit tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Schlong just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Schlong's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Shalit misses with a body punch.

Shalit scores with a hook to the body.
Shalit blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Shalit blocks an uppercut.

Shalit gets control of Schlong's arms and successfully pulls guard. Shalit will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Schlong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shalit swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Schlong is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Shalit can do to turn this around?

Schlong wants to pass the guard but Shalit is keeping the position.

Long Schlong overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Schlong is looking for a sweep.

Schlong reaches up around Shalit's neck trying to control. But Shalit takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Schlong! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Schlong is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Shalit celebrates the victory with the fans!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Elazar Shalit!
After winning the bout, Elazar Shalit thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
