Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Grundmann (ranked 6458 p4p, 597 weight class) and Corey Mcgraugh (ranked 4540 p4p, 490 weight class). Mcgraugh has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Grundmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corey Mcgraugh!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgraugh fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Mcgraugh gets caught flat footed, as Grundmann shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Grundmann forces his way into half guard.

Grundmann is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mcgraugh is just riding it out for now. Grundmann eventually gives up the hold.
Mcgraugh looks winded!

Grundmann is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mcgraugh is refusing to be controlled, as Grundmann sits in half guard.

Grundmann is looking for a kimura but Mcgraugh is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Grundmann to get the leverage.

Grundmann is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Grundmann is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mcgraugh has managed to free his arm - good work.

Grundmann is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Grundmann is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mcgraugh defends it well.
Grundmann is trying to control. Mcgraugh wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Grundmann is keen to just control but Mcgraugh is a slippery customer.

Grundmann is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Mcgraugh is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
