Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexi Laiho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Eatthedragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laiho comes to the cage accompanied by Lookin' Out My Backdoor. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laiho misses with a hook. Eatthedragon ducked under it nicely.
Laiho throws a series of punches but Eatthedragon avoids them all with ease.
Eatthedragon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Laiho but Laiho pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Horrible takedown by Eatthedragon or perhaps it was just good defense by Laiho which made him look bad.
Laiho clobbers Eatthedragon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Laiho dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Laiho throws a series of punches but Eatthedragon moves out of range.
Bob Eatthedragon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eatthedragon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Laiho as he jumps to the side.

Eatthedragon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Bob Eatthedragon has been cut.
Eatthedragon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Laiho swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Laiho lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Eatthedragon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Laiho tries to avoid it but Eatthedragon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Laiho to the ground. Laiho escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Eatthedragon feints and as Laiho raises his hands in defense, Eatthedragon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Eatthedragon prevents Laiho from getting back to his feet.
Eatthedragon gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Eatthedragon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Laiho.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Laiho connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Laiho throws a low kick but it's checked well by Eatthedragon.

and Laiho counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Laiho lands a nice shot that snaps Eatthedragon's head back.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Laiho is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Laiho throws a left that rocks Eatthedragon and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Laiho dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Eatthedragon regain composure!
Laiho decides to stand up, so the ref orders Eatthedragon to his feet.
Laiho throws a nice looking combination but Eatthedragon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Eatthedragon counters with a shoot takedown. Laiho fights it but they end up in guard.
Eatthedragon is standing up over Laiho. Laiho looks to escape but Eatthedragon dives into side control.
Eatthedragon throws a strike aimed at the side of Laiho's head but Laiho avoids it well.
Laiho tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Eatthedragon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Eatthedragon sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Laiho is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Eatthedragon throwing strikes but Laiho manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Eatthedragon tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Laiho presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Eatthedragon tries to control Laiho's body but Laiho pushes him off. Eatthedragon squirms to his side and now Laiho has his back!
Laiho lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Eatthedragon tries to escape but Laiho has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Eatthedragon is breathing heavily.
Laiho working for a choke but Eatthedragon is defending well.
Laiho will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Eatthedragon is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Laiho gets his way!

Laiho is persistently looking for the submission but Eatthedragon is defending it well.

Laiho thuds his right hand into Eatthedragon's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Eatthedragon is stalling here. Laiho is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Eatthedragon seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Laiho has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Laiho stalks Eatthedragon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Eatthedragon's face. Eatthedragon staggers backwards, shaken.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Laiho, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
