Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shelby jabs Frunze to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A big left from Shelby misses.
Frunze dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Shelby misses with a wild body shot.
Frunze avoids the body shot from Shelby.
Shelby misses with a hook. Frunze ducked under it nicely.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Frunze, as that shot connected.
Shelby throws a shot to the body.
Frunze has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gym Beam in the buildup to the fight.
Shelby throws a lazy right hand but Frunze sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Shelby chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Frunze can pounce on him.
Frunze uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shelby.
Frunze turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Frunze slips a straight right by Shelby.
Shelby pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Shelby takes one to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Frunze misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Frunze throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shelby doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

and Shelby counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Shelby tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Frunze just misses with a punch to the body.
Frunze takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Frunze walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Shelby checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Shelby connects with a crisp jab.

and Frunze counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Shelby takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shelby is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Frunze rather than just go for the knockout.

Shelby stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

A frustrated look appears on Frunze's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Shelby throws a big uppercut that drops Frunze! More strikes from Shelby and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Frunze lies dazed against the cage as Shelby celebrates with his cornermen!
