Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomomi Tsuruta (ranked 527 p4p, 77 weight class) and Cavey Beaumont (ranked 566 p4p, 84 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsuruta lunges at Beaumont with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Beaumont's hand.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Tsuruta enables Beaumont to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tsuruta manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Tsuruta here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
