The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkovic doesn't manage to clinch there - Escobar circles away.
A little feinted left hand from Escobar on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Escobar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Volkovic as he avoids it easily.
Volkovic wants to clinch up but Escobar keeps it at a distance.
Escobar shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Volkovic tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Escobar manages to move to mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
