And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adam Mohammed!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalevitz with a poor takedown

and Mohammed counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Kowalevitz trying to keep a closed guard but Mohammed is proving a slippery customer.

Mohammed got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kowalevitz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mohammed has managed to get both his arms back between Kowalevitz's legs - danger averted.

Kowalevitz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mohammed doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mohammed manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mohammed postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Kowalevitz covers up, he's hurt! Mohammed keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Mohammed and the ref steps in to end the fight! Mohammed can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
