Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uniesky Santaban (ranked 2490 p4p, 340 weight class) and Javelle Stone (ranked 4884 p4p, 536 weight class). Stone has chosen Matrimony by:Wale as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Santaban.
Santaban swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Stone.

It looks like Javelle Stone has been cut.
Santaban keeps the fight on the outside.
Stone is looking to clinch but Santaban is avoiding it.
Santaban is looking to counter punch.

Santaban has managed to clinch.
Stone tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Santaban just stands there and leans against the cage.
Santaban gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Stone.

Santaban manages to break the clinch.

Santaban seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stone tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Stone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Santaban connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Santaban throws a leg kick

and Stone decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Santaban's guard.

Santaban has his feet on Stone's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Stone is looking to clinch but Santaban is avoiding it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Stone throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Santaban lands a head shot.
Stone seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Santaban shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Stone is backing up but Santaban catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Stone covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Santaban Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
