The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrington gets a clinch.

Harrington has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Harrington seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Adesanya for as long as he can get away with.
Harrington really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Adesanya tries to clinch but Harrington is having none of it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Harrington throws a right hand that Adesanya ducks under and follows up with a left that Adesanya also avoids with ease.
Harrington lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Adesanya swings wildly with an uppercut but Harrington uses good head movement to avoid it.

Harrington is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Adesanya looks calm but he's in trouble here. Harrington gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Adesanya is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Harrington lets go of the hold and Adesanya can pop his arm back in it's socket.
