Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kyo Yodachai (ranked 5581 p4p, 472 weight class) and Billy Gravano (ranked 24790 p4p, 558 weight class). Gravano has chosen long way to the top as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kyo Yodachai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Billy Gravano!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yodachai doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Gravano shoots in and gets a takedown into Yodachai's guard.

Yodachai is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gravano is aware though and is defending well.
Gravano trying to control the position from guard on top but Yodachai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gravano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yodachai swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gravano is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Gravano drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gravano jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Yodachai wants to clinch up but Gravano keeps it at a distance.

Gravano shoots in and bounces Yodachai off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Gravano throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Yodachai works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Gravano missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Gravano postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Yodachai is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gravano, into his guard.


Yodachai is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Yodachai tries to free his leg and advance position but Gravano is retaining full guard.
Gravano is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Gravano working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Yodachai has passed into half guard!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gravano is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gravano looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Gravano is pressing down on Yodachai's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Yodachai got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gravano has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yodachai has managed to get both his arms back between Gravano's legs - danger averted.

Gravano is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Yodachai defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gravano wants to sweep here but Yodachai controlling him for the moment.

Gravano has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Yodachai after a bit of a struggle.
Gravano drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Yodachai gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Gravano changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Yodachai fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kyo Yodachai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Gravano.

Gravano fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Yodachai, pushing him back against the cage.

Gravano lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Gravano is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Yodachai pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Gravano wants to take the fight to the mat but Yodachai manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Gravano throws a punch but it's blocked by Yodachai.
Yodachai creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gravano's defenses.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Gravano.
Gravano takes an elbow to the temple.


It looks like Billy Gravano has been cut.
Yodachai scores a nice knee to the body.
Gravano is trying to pull guard but Yodachai turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Gravano has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Gravano changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Yodachai fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gravano is breathing heavily.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Yodachai just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gravano's brow.
Yodachai throws a knee to the head but misses.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Yodachai is on top in guard.


Gravano has his foot on Yodachai's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yodachai works his way back into a safe position though.

Yodachai wants to control the pace but Gravano is squirming around nicely.

Gravano is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Yodachai locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Gravano is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kyo Yodachai!
Our winner, Kyo Yodachai, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Billy Gravano spoke after the fight, saying 'sorry to my fans i'll train my ass off for the next one.'.
