Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Francis DeMontford and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eiermann gets a takedown into half guard.
Eiermann tries to pass the half guard into mount. Deleon knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eiermann is trying to control the action in half guard but Deleon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Eiermann has eaten all the pies!
Deleon makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Deleon.

Deleon is desperately trying to improve his position but Eiermann has a good base and remains in mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Eiermann moves into the clinch successfully.
Eiermann has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Deleon clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Deleon breaks Eiermann's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Eiermann has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Deleon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Deleon won't allow Eiermann to sweep him here.
Deleon chips away with some ground and pound.
Eiermann has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Deleon wants to stand but Eiermann has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Eiermann wants to improve his position but instead Deleon has moved into half guard.
Deleon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Eiermann doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Deleon.

Eiermann bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Deleon is on top in guard.

Eiermann is trying to control the position but Deleon postures up.
Deleon cracks Eiermann with a solid left hand.
Deleon stands up over Eiermann, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Deleon lands a couple of elbows.
Deleon postures up in Eiermann's guard and throws a big left but Eiermann blocks it.
Eiermann throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Deleon escapes and throws Eiermann's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Deleon is putting a hurting on Eiermann here, landing some big shots from side control.
Eiermann sneaks back into half guard.
Deleon thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Deleon lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Deleon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Deleon seems to be working for a kimura but Eiermann defends the submission attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Deleon just misses with a elbow thrown towards Eiermann's brow.
Deleon wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Eiermann lands a takedown into guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Deleon holds on and takes a little breather.
Deleon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Eiermann wants to control from the top but Deleon keeps moving.
Eiermann wants to stand and escape but instead Deleon has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Deleon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Eiermann has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Deleon has managed to get both his arms back between Eiermann's legs - danger averted.

Deleon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Deleon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Deleon is nestled in close to Eiermann, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eliseo Deleon.
I think Deleon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
