The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by freedom.
freedom working the head and body with strikes.

freedom decides to stand back up. freedom steps back and let's RED EYES get back to his feet.

freedom tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
RED EYES flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

freedom prevents RED EYES from getting the reversal.

freedom lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

freedom's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
freedom wanted to stand there but RED EYES had control of the position.

freedom has control of RED EYES's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and RED EYES regains control of the situation pretty easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

freedom manages to capitalize on a mistake by RED EYES to take his back!
RED EYES manages to reverse the position and now he's in freedom's guard. Nice work there by RED EYES.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
