Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Schaub (ranked 430 p4p, 67 weight class) and Eddie Nordon (ranked 1118 p4p, 173 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Nordon!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nordon looks to throw the jab but Schaub is out of range.

Schaub shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Nordon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Nordon wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Schaub stands and throws Nordon's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Nordon tries to buck Schaub off but Schaub is having none of it.

Schaub looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Nordon can't do much from the bottom here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Schaub swings around for an armbar but Nordon sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Schaub's guard.

Schaub is looking for a triangle but Nordon pushes his legs off easily.

Nordon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Schaub has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nordon has managed to get both his arms back between Schaub's legs - danger averted.
Nordon is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Nordon is in close to Schaub's body, working some short punches and elbows.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Nordon working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Schaub is pulling down on Nordon's head to control his posture.
Nordon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Schaub's guard.

Nordon is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Schaub is looking to improve his position.
Nordon drops an elbow to the side of Schaub's head.
Nordon working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Nordon works his foot free and advances to mount.
Schaub tries to reverse the position but Nordon maintains control.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Schaub is rocked!
Schaub definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nordon softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Schaub is out cold! Nordon jumps to his feet and celebrates on the ropes with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
