Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Augusto tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Kordic scores with a crisp jab that stopped Augusto in his tracks.
Augusto has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Good work by Kordic as he checks the leg kick.
Augusto looks for the body kick but Kordic saw that one coming.
Kordic went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Kordic cracks Augusto with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Augusto tried to score with a low kick but Kordic checks it.
Augusto looks to score with a jab to the body but Kordic is just out of range.
Augusto misses with a two punch combination.
Kordic feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Kordic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Augusto, pushing him back against the cage.

Augusto wants to break free but Kordic has control.

Kordic wants the takedown. Augusto is fighting it off but Kordic persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Augusto's guard against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kordic has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Augusto tries to roll over but Kordic keeps him under control.

Augusto seems to have recovered his senses.
Kordic seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Augusto for as long as he can get away with.

Kordic winds up and cracks Augusto with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Kordic is looking for a kimura but Augusto is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kordic to get the leverage.
Kordic slips a nice elbow through Augusto's hands, connecting with Augusto's forehead.

Kordic seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Kordic perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kordic lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Augusto! More strikes land and this one is all over! Kordic jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
