Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Son Tom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Caspar Milquetoast!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milquetoast instigates a clinch.
Tom tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Milquetoast dodges an elbow strike from Tom.
A frustrated look appears on Tom's face as he tries to break the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Tom.
Tom misses with the head strike.
Tom's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Milquetoast blocks a head kick by Tom.
Tom throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Milquetoast's head.
Tom looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tom swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Milquetoast swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Milquetoast fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tom scoring well with a low kick there.
Tom lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tom tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Milquetoast is defended easily by Tom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tom jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Tom misses with a body shot.
Milquetoast rushes Tom and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Milquetoast is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tom pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Son Tom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caspar Milquetoast.
Milquetoast pulls Tom into guard.
Tom won't allow Milquetoast to sweep him here.
Milquetoast thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Milquetoast bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tom's guard.
Milquetoast has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tom is trying to control the position but Milquetoast postures up.
Milquetoast in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Milquetoast stays in close to Tom's body and controls the position.
Milquetoast works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Tom won't allow Milquetoast to pass to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Milquetoast in particular looking to stall.
Milquetoast drops an elbow to the side of Tom's head.
Tom is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Milquetoast working over Tom with some ground and pound. Tom looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Milquetoast wants to work for an arm triangle but Tom is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Tom wants to control the action here but instead Milquetoast manages to pass to full mount!

Milquetoast in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Tom is rocked!
Milquetoast loads up with a big shot that hurts Tom! He's pulled Milquetoast in close but Milquetoast has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Tom survive? More strikes from Milquetoast and Tom is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
