Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sargeant Cobra (ranked 22513 p4p, 555 weight class) and John Starman (ranked 3878 p4p, 390 weight class). Cobra comes to the cage accompanied by Cobra. Starman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by David Bowie - Starman. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that John Starman was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starman on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cobra. Cobra obviously looking to wear him down.
Starman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cobra sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Starman throws a shot from downtown. Cobra moves away and avoids it.
Starman swings for the body but Cobra moves out of range.
Cobra feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Starman's calf.
Cobra does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Starman misses the jab.
Starman misses with a wild body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Starman misses with an uppercut.
Cobra thinks about countering with a body kick.
Cobra throws an overhand right that lands on Starman's shoulder, as Starman tries to avoid the shot.
Cobra lands with a slapping head kick.
Cobra scores with a jab. Starman acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Starman moves into range and connects with a jab.
Cobra ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Starman moves away.
Cobra tries to clinch there but Starman circles away.
Starman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cobra lands a right hook to the body.
Cobra slips a straight right by Starman.
Cobra defending well as Starman loads up on a big left hand.
Cobra half committed to a counter leg kick.
Cobra misses with a low kick.
Starman throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cobra counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Cobra connects with a jab.

Starman thows a left - swing and a miss!
Starman has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Cobra pushes Starman away with a front kick.
Starman misses with a double jab.
Cobra's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Cobra duly obliges.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cobra slips a jab from Starman.
Starman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cobra was well out of range. Poor timing from Starman.

Starman shoots in but no luck this time.
Cobra throwing a counter right hand but Starman manages to avoid it.

Cobra throws a hook but Starman blocks it.
Starman throws out a counter right but Cobra avoids it with no problem.
Starman throws a body punch but Cobra moves out of range.
A quick step to the side and Cobra tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Starman takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Cobra jabs at Starman's body.
Cobra lands with a kick to the ribs.

Starman lands a lovely overhand right.
Starman scores with a hook to the body. Cobra takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A decent looking cross lands there for Starman.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cobra takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Starman lands the left hand.

Cobra is rocked!
Starman moves in close and cracks Cobra with a massive right hand! Cobra, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Starman!
