The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kapisi throws a body punch but Brandon moves out of range.
A little jabbing left from Brandon on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kapisi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brandon manages to avoid it.
Kapisi just misses with a punch to the body.

Kapisi closes the distance and clinches.
Brandon wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kapisi pushes Brandon back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Brandon told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
The referee is keeping an eye on Kapisi - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Brandon tries to break free but Kapisi pushes him back against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brandon shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kapisi eats them both and turns towards Brandon to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Kapisi just misses with a punch to the body.
Brandon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Bubba Brandon has been cut.
Kapisi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Brandon misses with a lunging right hand
and Kapisi counters with a nice uppercut.

Brandon is rocked!
Brandon ducks into an uppercut from Kapisi and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
