The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gumption avoids a kick to the body.

Gumption misses with a few strikes there.

Dog closes the distance and clinches.
Gumption is trying to force a seperation but Dog has the dominant position.
Dog blocks an uppercut.
Gumption misses with the head strike.
Gumption lands a nice uppercut.
Gumption has a couple of punches blocked by Dog.
Gumption keeps control of Dog as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Gumption misses with a punch to the body.
Dog tries to land knees in the clinch but Gumption avoids the damage to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Big Dog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dog ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Dog throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Gumption lands a big head kick that sends Dog tumbling to the mat! Gumption takes a step backwards and waves Dog back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Dog is rocked!

It looks like Big Dog has been cut.
Dog wants to clinch up but Gumption keeps it at a distance.
Gumption looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Oh Dog is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gumption fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Dog square on the jaw! Damn, Dog is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Bubba Gumption really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Urban Fighter logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
In defeat, Big Dog stepped up to the mic, saying 'My manager sucks! He doesn't know how to set sliders!'.
