Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brady Hill (ranked 5091 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Fadden (ranked 5065 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brady Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Fadden!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill moves in looking to clinch but Fadden pushes him off.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fadden is defended easily by Hill.
Fadden on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Hill instigates a clinch.

Fadden manages to pull guard.
Fadden trying to keep a closed guard but Hill is proving a slippery customer.
Hill tries to free his leg and advance position but Fadden is retaining full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hill accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fadden on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hill tries to free his leg and advance position but Fadden is retaining full guard.

Hill got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fadden has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hill has managed to get both his arms back between Fadden's legs - danger averted.

Fadden is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Hill tries to close the distance and clinch but Fadden swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Fadden or perhaps it was just good defense by Hill, which made it look bad.
Hill attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Fadden shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hill sprawls well. Hill wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fadden gets slowly back to his feet.
Brady Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Fadden.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
A punch lands to the side of Fadden 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hill stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hill wants it to stay on the feet.

Hill fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fadden manages to avoid it.

Fadden throws a right and a left that Hill avoids nicely.

Hill is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Fadden.
Fadden tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hill was well out of range. Poor timing from Fadden.
Fadden uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hill.

Fadden misses with an uppercut. Hill saw that one coming.

Fadden has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hill finds it's way round the side to connect with Fadden's head.
Hill fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Fadden checks it well.

Hill really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fadden shoots in for a takedown but Hill shows good takedown defense.
Hill tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fadden paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hill throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Fadden.

Fadden closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hill wants to get back to full guard.

Fadden passes the guard and advances to mount!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Fadden is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hill to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hill shrugs it off.
Fadden lands a heavy elbow.

Fadden jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hill manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Fadden thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Fadden takes a little break here. Hill wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

That was a close round but I would say that Brady Hill will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Fadden has control of Hill's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hill regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Hill has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
