The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bartley gets a double leg takedown into Flowers's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bartley wants to control from the top but Flowers keeps moving.

Bartley thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Flowers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bartley on the ground.

Bartley drops back looking for a leg! Flowers is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Flowers manages to kick Bartley off! Bartley jumps back into Flowers's guard.

Bartley has his foot on Flowers's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Flowers works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Flowers throws a strike but Bartley rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
