Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ragnar Lothbruk (ranked 3331 p4p, 281 weight class) and Theodore Jasper (ranked 6556 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Jasper - just one landing.
Lothbruk takes one to the chin there.
Jasper connects with a body shot.
Lothbruk takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Lothbruk tries to move into range but Jasper moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Jasper motions for Lothbruk to come forward. Jasper throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Lothbruk doesn't manage to clinch there - Jasper circles away.
A combination from Jasper does no damage.
It looked like Lothbruk was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Jasper changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice shot lands for Lothbruk.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lothbruk takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jasper misses with a series of wild punches.

Lothbruk has closed the distance and engaged Jasper in a clinch.
Jasper is trying to break the clinch but Lothbruk has him pressed against the cage.

Lothbruk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jasper's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lothbruk under the eye.
Lothbruk walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Jasper takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Jasper lands the left hand.
Lothbruk scores with a kick to the body.
Lothbruk shoots for a takedown but Jasper saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Lothbruk explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Lothbruk tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jasper swivels and escapes.

Lothbruk fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jasper, pushing him back against the cage.

Jasper might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Lothbruk shoots in for a double leg but Jasper sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Lothbruk counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jasper thinking.

Lothbruk drops his hands momentarily and Jasper takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Lothbruk lands a knee to the head.
Lothbruk tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jasper just stands there and leans against the cage.

Lothbruk breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
An inside leg kick from Jasper misses.
Lothbruk takes one on the button.
Lothbruk tries to close the distance and clinch but Jasper swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A chopping leg kick lands by Jasper.
Jasper bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lothbruk's head backwards.
Lothbruk drops his hands momentarily and Jasper takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Jasper has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lothbruk looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lothbruk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jasper's waist but Jasper gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lothbruk off to one side.
Jasper looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Lothbruk looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lothbruk walks into a left hand.
Jasper cracks Lothbruk with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Jasper scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

A punch lands to the side of Lothbruk 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Lothbruk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jasper is fending him off so far but Lothbruk persists. Nope, Jasper circles away and we're back to standing.
Theodore Jasper is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jasper defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lothbruk.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jasper! But no joy.
Jasper throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lothbruk gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jasper.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jasper circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Lothbruk to the canvas! Lothbruk doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Jasper keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
