These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Clay counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Howlin Wolf has been cut.
Wolf takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Clay misses with a body shot.
Wolf fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Wolf looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nice uppercut lands for Clay. That snapped Wolf's head back.
Howlin Wolf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wolf misses with an uppercut
and Clay counters with a two punch combo.
Wolf throws an off balance right hand
and Clay counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Clay walks into a stiff left hand from Wolf.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Wolf counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Marcellus Clay has been cut.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Clay checks a leg kick.
Wolf tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Clay paws at him with a jab and circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wolf doesn't manage to clinch there - Clay circles away.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Wolf and Clay goes tumbling to the canvas! Wolf follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Clay is rocked!
Wolf sitting in half guard here. He lands a big elbow that has hurt Clay! Oh, Clay is in big trouble! Wolf lands more strikes and the ref dives in to save him! The fight is over!
